Kipe Adventure is a locally owned safari company based in Tanzania, offering sustainable and responsible travel experiences that are both unique and authentic. We are proudly led by Maasai warriors and are licensed and registered under the United Republic of Tanzania (Registration No. 011075).
With over six years of experience, we specialize in creating classic, private, and comfortable trips that directly support local communities, particularly the Maasai people. Our adventures include visits to Tanzania’s most iconic destinations, such as Ngorongoro Crater, Serengeti National Park, Tarangire National Park, and Manyara National Park, as well as Mount Kilimanjaro, Mount Meru, and Oldoinyo Lengai treks. We also offer cultural tours, waterfall and hot spring excursions, cycling tours, Zanzibar beach getaways, and volunteer opportunities with community projects.
What makes Kipe Adventure truly unique is that we were born in the wild, raised in the wild, and continue to live and work in the wild. Our deep connection to nature and our land allows us to share Tanzania in a way no one else can. Every safari is customized to match your budget, preferences, and expectations, ensuring a personalized, once-in-a-lifetime experience.
We are committed to giving back, 20% of the proceeds from every trip go directly toward supporting vulnerable children, orphans, and women in our community. When you travel with us, you not only experience the beauty of Tanzania but also make a meaningful impact.
Our charitable non-profit, the Oltukai Community Development Organization (OCDO), runs volunteer programs for visitors who wish to contribute to local development.
Kipe Adventure is proud to be represented on SafariBookings and trusted by SafariGo.
With over 6 years of leading Kipe Adventure, I am proud to say it has become one of the only 100% locally Maasai-owned safari companies in Tanzania.
We are not here just to offer experiences, we are here to share them: our stories, our land, our traditions, and our passion.
I was born and raised in Oltukai Village, located deep within the Kwakuchinja Wildlife Corridor, between Tarangire and Lake Manyara National Parks. I come from a proud heritage as the son of a respected Maasai chief, and I grew up immersed in the traditions of my people and the rhythms of nature.
Like many rural children, I faced challenges, but I was incredibly fortunate

My community came together to support my early education, believing in the power of opportunity. Later in life, while guiding a guest who was researching how people and wildlife can live side by side, my passion caught his attention. He offered to sponsor me to study at the College of African Wildlife Management, Mweka, where I trained in wildlife management and mountaineering.
That moment changed the direction of my life.
After graduating, I made a promise: to use my knowledge not just for myself, but for my community. I returned home determined to protect our environment, preserve our culture, and inspire others to dream bigger.
This vision led to the creation of Kipe Adventure as not just a safari company but a purpose-driven platform that promotes responsible travel, community empowerment, and cultural pride.
Alongside Kipe Adventure, I founded the Oltukai Community Development Organization (OCDO), which focuses on:
Education—We started a small school under a tree with just 11 to 25 children in the first two years. Today, over 150 kids have already received their basic education, and some have reached Grade 4 in nearby primary schools. Now, I’m working on building our own full primary school. We’ve built 2 classrooms already, and we’re campaigning to build 5 more to give more children a better future.
Water Access: We’ve brought clean water to underserved villages. My own village now has access to safe, clean water thanks to the support we received to drill a water source. The whole community can now enjoy clean water
Women’s empowerment, Especially supporting education about FGM, EMG, gender equality, and entrepreneurship
To everyone who has joined us on this journey, whether you’ve traveled with us, supported our school, or shared our vision, Asante sana (thank you very much).
You’ve helped turn pain into pride and purpose.
And to those who haven’t yet, I always say, “Karibuni Sana.” (You’re warmly welcome.)
We welcome you to experience authentic, responsible, and sustainable tourism guided by those who call this land home.
