Itinerary

Day 01: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast at the lodge/hotel, you will be received by our tour guide and driver with the lunch boxes to Tarangire National Park which is known for its huge number of baobab trees and a large herd of elephants. Its spear vegetation makes it a beautiful and special location where up to 300 elephants can be found looking for underground stems in the river beds. Also, wildebeest, zebras, antelopes, and buffalos can be seen; here you will enjoy an afternoon game drive with a picnic lunch. Overnight at MAASAI VILLAGE (here you have the option to sleep at MAASAI VILLAGE (with options to sleep at Maasai hut or your tent), around 5:00 pm you arrive at Oltukai village welcoming with a big hug or dance with Maasai warriors with women. And after that, you will go to your option (Maasai hut or Tent) for a little short break after a tiring game drive, after that, you will be calling yourself out to watch the magic sunset. And after sundown you will go and encounter the Maasai warriors, having already prepared a bonfire with the surrounding exacting dance.

Day 2: Full Day at Maasai Village

Today you will wake up early in the morning around 6:20 am to witness both a sunrise and Maasai early activities, you will start a morning excursion to learn practically all about age-set groups and events, ending up at Maasai kids’ school to get learn with them. after that, you will start going to head livestock including a walking safari from the village to lake Manyara with a local Maasai guide while other warriors prepare your lunch and bring it to you at Engusero in (Engusero Picnic site), during walking a Maasai guide will teach you a lot about local medicine, wild-tracks, animals and birds around Lake Manyara. and if the weather it’s good you can do the cleaning at lake Manyara, not included in the itinerary due to the climatic condition, after that, you get ready to head up to Karatu overnight.

Day 3: Karatu to Serengeti National Park

Today you will start your day passing a famous eighth wonder of the world, The Ngorongoro Conservation Areas, in the afternoon you will arrive at the world’s best park, The Serengeti National Park. The park has 2 million wildebeest, 900,000 Thomson gazelle, and 300,000 zebras that migrate annually and are the dominant herds. There are also 70,000 buffaloes, 27,000 squares, 18,000 hartebeests, 15,000 warthogs, 7,000 lands, 4,000 giraffes, 2,700 elephants, 500 hippopotami and some 50 black rhinos (compared to 500 in the 1970s). Large predators include about 3,000 lions, 1,000 leopards, 500 cheetahs, 3,500 spotted hyenas, and 300 wild dogs. There are more than 500 species of birds, including five species endemics to Tanzania. The park also has the largest ostrich population in Tanzania and probably in Africa. Lunch will be available at the picnic site. You will enjoy your evening game drive with a lunch box later you will drive to camp for overnight and dinner at central Serengeti at Tent lodge or Camp.

Day 4: Full Day at Serengeti National Park

Today you will have a game drive in Serengeti. Serengeti is most famously known for the spectacular migration of over 1 million wildebeest and 250 000 zebra that takes place annually and is assumed to have the largest pride of lions in Africa. You will explore this incredible wild animal migration for the whole day, evening you will overnight at Tented Lodge or Camp.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

After breakfast, you will drive to the crater gate and drive into the Ngorongoro crater for a whole day tour with a lunch box. The Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera that is 20 kilometers in diameter and covers an area of 300 square kilometers. It is filled with history, stunning views, and over 25 000 large wild animals such as the Cape buffalo, the black rhinoceros, and the hippopotamus. Lions and elephants can also be spotted here. It is a unique environment, later in the evening ascend and head up to Arusha.
